“My blood”, Clara Luciani’s third album, a winning rock comeback

Six years after her sensational entry onto the French pop scene, Clara Luciani has just released a third studio album. In this opus of 13 titles entitled My bloodthe 32-year-old singer expresses the love of those close to her in all its forms, alternating intimate walks and lyrical flights.

In young language, “blood” refers to family. By titling her third studio album “Mon sang”, Clara Luciani announces the color. In the first single which is playing on the airwaves, Tout for me, the very young mother speaks to her little boy, her first child. She was also pregnant during the conception of the album, and it’s as if she was presenting her entourage, her journey, to this new being, but also to her audience.

Accept Manage my choices

Clara Luciani has had many fans since her sensational arrival on the French pop scene six years ago, driven in particular by the hit, which became a feminist anthem, To grenades.

Clara Luciani, it’s a deep voice, pop and dance sounds, elements that we find on the album My blood.

But if his previous album Heart chained disco hits, My blood explores more rock sounds.

Clara Luciani, who likes to tour as a tribe, accompanied by her father, her sisters, and now her baby, even included her husband, Alex Kapranos, the leader of the Scottish group Franz Ferdinand, who plays guitar on two tracks .

However, it would be wrong to reduce Clara Luciani to these very catchy and joyful titles. The tall young woman with brown bangs can also indulge in melancholy, on a softer rhythm which highlights a beautiful writing talent to describe her states of mind… One of the beautiful titles of the The album is the one where she speaks modestly to her mother.

The one who is this year’s godmother of the Star Academy show will have no trouble getting the big rooms dancing, she will begin a tour of the Zénith de France next spring.

As the website editor⁣ for world-today-news.com, it is‌ my pleasure⁢ to present this exclusive interview with ⁤two ⁤special guests, Clara Luciani and her husband Alex⁤ Kapranos, discussing their newest ⁢album‍ “My Blood“.

**Section 1: Inspiration‍ Behind the Album⁤ Title ‌and ⁣Themes**

World-Today News: Clara, you have titled your third studio album “My Blood”. Can you tell us about the inspiration behind this title and how it ⁤relates‍ to the overall themes of the album?

Clara Luciani: The title “My Blood” comes from a very simple idea: family. When you’re‌ family, you⁣ share a lot of things; you⁤ share your time, your experiences, your emotions… In French, “blood” means family, so it was ‌natural for me to use this metaphor to express the⁣ strong connection I feel with ⁢the people around me. The ‌album is a‍ tribute to all of them, to my loved ones, ⁤and to the journey we’ve‍ been ⁣through ⁢together.

Alex⁤ Kapranos: Clara’s pregnancy was also a big inspiration for this album. ⁢She was writing songs while carrying our child, and I‌ was lucky enough to be there‌ with her every step of the way. I think the album reflects this new phase of life, the love and joy that ‍comes ⁢with having a ⁣family, but also the challenges and insecurities that come with it.

World-Today News: Your previous album “Heart of Steel” was more disco-focused, while “My‌ Blood”⁣ leans towards rock sounds. ⁢What made you decide to take ⁣this‌ direction ⁢for your latest work?

Clara⁢ Luciani: I’ve always been inspired by ‍different genres of music, ⁤and ⁢I wanted to explore a new ‌soundscape for this album. Rock has always been part ‌of my musical background, so ‍it felt natural to ‌incorporate it into my‍ pop⁣ sound. It‍ allowed ‌me to express more emotions and dynamic ranges in my songs.

Alex Kapranos: As Clara mentioned, the rock sound on this ‌album⁣ came ⁤from a genuine place. It was‍ exciting for ⁤me to collaborate with her and add my guitar work to some ‌of the tracks. I think it gave the album a ⁢unique energy that sets it apart from her previous work.
