Vienna (OTS/RK) – The traditional “Christmas and New Year closure” of the Hietzing District Museum (13th, Am Platz 2) is coming to an end: on Wednesday, January 10th, you can visit the permanent exhibition on the history of the 13th district and the special exhibition with the Title “My angel tree. In memoriam: Hildegard Hoffmann” is again possible from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free. Further information by email: [email protected].
As part of the “My Angel Tree” show, artistically designed works from the estate of the creative Hildegard Hoffmann can be viewed until Wednesday, January 31st. Hoffmann once belonged to the “Lockerwiese Artists’ Circle”. The family has donated over 200 beautiful angel figures made of straw and other materials to the museum. Some of the objects decorate 3 “angel trees” in a display case. The museum rooms are accessible free of charge every Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Closed: public holidays and school-free days.
