The 48th Muktamar Muhammadiyah in Solo, Central Java issued a stipulating decision Haedar Nasir And Abdul Mu’ti re-elected President General and Secretary General of the Central Executive (PP) Muhammadiyah. Both Haedar Nashir and Abdul Mu’ti then exchanged compliments.
Muhammadiyah’s leadership selection journey began with the 48th Muktamar Muhammadiyah meeting. The process passed the selection of 13 PP Muhammadiyah formations. After electronic voting and counting, 13 reformers of PP Muhammadiyah were elected.
In the live broadcast of the tvMu YouTube channel on Sunday (11/20/2022), the first position was occupied by Haedar Nashir with 2,203 votes, while the second position was held by Abdul Mu’ti with 2,159 votes.

Congress then decided Haedar Nasir re-elected President of PP Muhammadiyah for 2022-2027. Not only that, Abdul Mu’ti was also re-elected Secretary General of PP Muhammadiyah.
“It was handed over to the new leadership we mentioned earlier, Prof. Haedar and Prof. Abdul Mu’ti,” the committee for PP Muhammadiyah Conference A Dahlan Rais said in a broadcast on YouTube tvMU Channel.
The event then continued with the handover from PP Muhammadiyah’s leadership for 2017-2022 to leadership for 2022-2027.
Haedar said his general chairman position was just an inch ahead. He said that the leadership principle in Muhammadiyah was still a collegiate collective union system.
“As president, my position is only an inch ahead and an inch high, but the principle of leadership is collective collegiate leadership and a system of partnership,” Haedar said after being nominated by the president of the 48th Congress to Solo, Central Java (Central Java Java) broadcast by TVMu Channel, Sunday (11/20).
Haedar said he would carry out the mandate in accordance with the schedule that had been prepared. The direction of the program, he said she, is more towards a dynamic transformation process.
“We carry out the first clear mandate to carry out Muhammadiyah programs which are directed towards a more dynamic transformational process in the future. Both regarding the general programs and the field programs which lead to Muhammadiyah who is superior in progress in various aspects of life, Hedar said.
Also, Muhammadiyah said Haedar, has the task of spreading the vision of progressive Islam. He hopes that the progress of Islam will bring mercy.
“Secondly, we have the task of spreading the vision of progressive Islam. In the Progressive Islam treaty, it was decided to continue the dialogue with various groups inside and outside the country, so that Islam that is advanced and brings grace to the universe becomes a world of thought that spreads and expands, as well as better implementation in trade unions,” he said.
“Islam that brings peace, Islam that unites, Islam that builds optimism, but also Islam that brings progress to the life of the entire society, the country and humanity that moves forward” , he added.
Furthermore, Haedar said that Muhammadiyah has a mandate to discuss the strategic issues of the ummah with various parties. She hopes that the results of this congress can be presented to the government.
“Thirdly, we PP Muhammadiyah also have the mandate to discuss various parties regarding strategic issues of the community, universal nationality in accordance with the portion and the field, so that the results of this congress also continue to give important inputs for various parties, the government, DPR, other institutions-institutions, TNI/Polri, other components of the nation and also of the international world”, he explained.
Haedar thanks Jokowi for Gibran
Haedar Nasir I would like to thank a number of parties as the 48th Muktamar Muhammadiyah went smoothly. In particular, Haedar thanked President Joko Widodo (Widodo).
“In particular, we would like to thank the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Onward Indonesia Cabinet Ministers and State Institutions, Heads of State Institutions and Parties who yesterday attended the opening of the congress, which had an extraordinary attendance by Members union,” Haedar said on YouTube tvMu Channel on Sunday (11/20).
Haedar he also thanked Mayor Solo Gibran Rakabuming. The 48th Muhammadiyah Congress was held at the Muhammadiyah University in Surakarta, Central Java.
“We also specifically express our gratitude and great appreciation to the Central Java Provincial Government and more specifically to the Solo City Government, Mayor Mas Gibran and of course the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta who organized this very modern conference, so advanced,” he said.
Not to forget, Haedar also thanked Abdul Mu’ti who was with him for 5 years and will be back together for next 5 years. He hopes Muhammadiyah progresses further.
“I am also specifically addressing Mas Mu’ti who accompanied us for 5 years and for the next 5 years. God willing, Muhammadiyah will progress and the people of the nation will also progress,” he explained.
