Mute Haters, Esemka Wins 2 Awards at IIMS 2023

Esemka succeeded in silencing the mouths of haters who often sneered and doubted its products. It’s just a fluke, the local brand from Boyolali, Central Java, has successfully won two awards at the Indonesia International Motor Show exhibition or IIMS 2023.

Esemka received the ‘best EV commercial car’ award for its newest product, the Bima EV. The vehicle has successfully captured the attention of exhibition visitors since the first day.

Apart from that, Esemka also won the ‘favorite local brand’ award or the best local brand at the IIMS 2023. Especially for this category, Esemka is almost unrivaled.

President Director of PT Solo Manufaktur Kreasi (SMK) as the Esemka car manufacturer, Eddy Widjaja, said he was proud of this amazing achievement. This is because this is the first time they have participated in a large-scale automotive exhibition.

“Thank God, hopefully this award can make (Esemka) closer to the community, automotive users, hopefully in the future it will be even better,” said Eddy.

It is known that Esemka occupied a booth in Hall A of JIexpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. The location is in the middle of the Jeep and Suzuki booths. Esemka brought two of its flagship products, namely Bima Pick Up and Bima EV. Both are already sold in Indonesia.

Thanks to this success, Esemka has opened up opportunities to take part in the following exhibitions, such as the Jakarta Auto Week or JAW 2023 and the Periklindo Electric Vehicle Show or PEVS 2023.

“We want all exhibitions to participate, but as business people we have to do the calculations first,” he said.
