The horse “Mutabahi Athba”, from Athba Racing, under the supervision of French trainer Elizabeth Bernard, and led by Jean-Bernard Egoum, won the title of “Al Wathba Stallions” Cup, for purebred Arabian horses, with a prize of 16 thousand euros, sponsored by the 15th edition of the Racing Festival of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al. Nahyan, which was held on 10/04/2023 at the French racetrack in Toulouse. The festival is held with the support and encouragement of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Presidential Office, to develop horse racing in the world, support efforts to preserve purebred Arabian horse breeds, and encourage breeders to pay attention to and care for them.
The race attracted nine horses aged four years and older, competing over a distance of 2,100 metres, and “Mutabahi Athba” confirmed his good candidacy, as his victory came by a difference of 6.5 lengths from his runner-up, the filly “Zuina Star”, owned and trained by Victoria Mercader, and led by Alexander Gavlan, while he finished third. “Al Madura” by Dhafi Al Marri, supervised by Charles Jourdin, and conducted by Fabrice Veron.
