WARTAKOTALIVE.COM, JAKARTA – The opening of the Muhammadiyah and ‘Aisyiyah Regional Conference (Musywil) of Central Java for the 48th Muktamar Period took place lively and bustlingly at the Wisanggeni Sports Hall, Tegal City, Saturday (4/3/2023).
The Musywil themed ‘Advancing Central Java, Enlightening the Universe’.
In front of the 2,000 musywil participants present, Ganjar said that Muhammadiyah is an Islamic organization in Indonesia whose da’wah level is global and its contribution to peace is enormous.
This was proven by Muhammadiyah by buying a church in Alcala, Madrid, Spain some time ago.
Initially, the building was a mosque inherited from the Abbasid Islamic dynasty.
After becoming the property of Muhammadiyah, the church building will be converted into a mosque as a facility that can be used by local Muslims.

The location of the place of worship is quite strategic. This is because the building is located not far from the center of the Spanish capital. The trip to get there can be reached in about 15 minutes by using a four-wheeled vehicle from Madrid.
“Yesterday the activities were global, and these worldwide activities can encourage communication, diplomacy at the top level and can give a cool color to Islam in Indonesia,” said Ganjar at the Wisanggeni Sports Hall, Tegal City.
Muhammadiyah representatives themselves are currently on five major continents, namely the Asian Continent, the African Continent, the European Continent, the Americas, and the Australian Continent.
Ganjar also said that Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah’s contribution to the Indonesian nation was beyond doubt. Moreover, when the women’s organization Aisyiyah made a commitment to reduce the stunting rate.

Apart from that, the world of education and health, as well as other social sectors also did not escape the attention of Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah to carry out their programs.
It is hoped that with the Central Java Musywil Muhammadiyah this time it can provide trustworthy management, as well as more ideas created by Muhammadiyah for the nation, the state and the world.
“So we hope that later the new management will be formed to give birth to a program of ideas that can respond to changing, turbulent times,” said Ganjar.
“I haqul yaqin, the big Muhammadiyah family can do that because the tradition belongs to Muhammadiyah,” continued Ganjar.
