Mach “attached to the pseudonym Mustang has always been synonymous with power and exclusivity. And the new Mach 1 is no exception. It uses the 5-liter V8 engine of 460 horsepower (11 more than the Mustang GT) with optimized settings, and receives a series of technical improvements.For this, Ford sought the best from its partners, including Shelby which supplied chassis and running gear components from the GT350 and GT500, but also Tremec, transmission specialist, for the new 6-speed manual gearbox, which allows the driver to engage the next gear without taking his foot off the accelerator. Note that a 10-speed automatic gearbox is also available.
Added to this are a series of improvements made by the Ford Performance teams: recalibrated MagneRide piloted suspension, even more responsive braking response, not to mention optimized aerodynamics resulting in a redesigned grille and new bodywork elements.
And good news, this ultimate version is available to order today in Belgium! It is displayed at € 61,150 in manual gearbox or € 63,950 including VAT in automatic version, or in both cases € 12,500 more than the equivalent Mustang GT. The price of the exclusivity in short, since it will be produced in a limited edition, without Ford having so far specified the exact terms of this limitation.
