Federal Councilor Alain Berset uses all the channels available to him to get his message across to the people of Switzerland. A “Challenge” on Instagram is currently going viral – Roger Federer has already responded.
At the latest after the last press conference of the Federal Council on Friday afternoon, it should be clear to everyone in Switzerland: ‘Don’t get out of the house. Stay at home. ‘ The message cannot be repeated often enough, because so far the instructions have been considered by many to be simple requests. But we have definitely exceeded this point in Germany: The number of infections with the new corona virus is increasing every day, the number of free beds in hospitals is becoming scarcer. The health minister wants to make every effort to reach all sections of the population. That is why he is launching a “social media challenge”, a campaign that is intended to further strengthen cohesion among the Swiss and encourage people to stay at home.

The reaction from Christa Rigozzi (Instagram) was not long in coming. A few minutes after Berset’s call, she spoke up and nominated Michelle Hunziker, Bastian Baker and DJ Antoine. Stress (Instagram) forwarded the call to fellow artists Loco Escrito and Stefanie Heinzmann, as well as to his girlfriend Ronja Furrer. So the game continues and the message of everyone involved is the same: «Stay at home now. Take it seriously. »
