It appears in an indictment from Oslo District Court.
The man was arrested last summer, when the police went into action against a larger environment in Oslo which for a long time had participated in extensive thefts of expensive designer furniture.
The man who was arrested and who is now charged, has previously been connected to the environment that was involved in the Nokas robbery in 2004.
Admits partial criminal guilt
When the accusation against the man in his 40s became known, his defender Øystein Storrvik stated that he admits partial criminal guilt.
– He still admits partial criminal guilt. He denies something and accepts something, says Storrvik to VG.
According to Storrvik, he does not plead guilty to complicity in the theft from Fineart. Here he is accused of, together with two others, having stolen an art rug by Bjarne Melgaard, worth 120,000 kroner.
In addition, he denies the extent of the theft of any of the other items. Storrvik does not state which specific thefts this applies to.
