New Delhi. He said, “Our government did not give the benefits of the schemes to any particular community, rather everyone got equal benefits from it. Meaning, these schemes have been prepared in such a way that there can be no discrimination against anyone. The benefits of these schemes are reaching every citizen regardless of community and religion.

PM Modi also expressed his views on democracy and free press in an interview with Newsweek. He said, “We are a democracy, not only because our Constitution says so, but also because it is in our genes. He said that more than 60 crore people voted in the 2019 general elections. In a few months from now, more than 97 crore voters will exercise their franchise. More than one million polling stations will be built across India for this. The ever-increasing voter participation is a huge testament to people’s faith in Indian democracy.”

As a result, we have significantly improved the ease of doing business. We have launched production linked incentive schemes to strengthen manufacturing capabilities in India. These PLI schemes are spread across 14 sectors like electronics, solar modules, medical devices, automobiles.

UPI broke countless barriers, from financial barriers to geographical barriers. It has opened up the world of digital transactions to the last mile person.

On the challenge of maintaining economic growth, he said that we are a young country with an average age of 28 years. We are committed to making India a developed country by 2047.
