Musk: X will pay the legal fees of those “wronged” by posts on the platform

“If you’ve been wronged by your employer because you posted or liked something on this platform, we will fund your legal fees,” Musk said.

Elon Musk said social media platform X will pay legal fees and file lawsuits on behalf of people who were treated unfairly by employers for posting or even “liking” another’s post on the site formerly known as Twitter.

“If you’ve been wronged by your employer because you posted or liked something on this platform, we will fund your legal fees,” Musk said in a post late Saturday night on X, adding that there will be no cap on the funding of legal fees.

“And we’re not just going to sue, we’re going to do it extremely loudly, and we’re also going to go after the boards of directors of the companies,” Musk later said in response to a post that argued that nothing changes behavior in the US faster than the threat of mass lawsuits.

At the end of last month, Musk said that X users had reached a “new high” in one month while posting a chart showing that they have exceeded 540 million.
