Musk urges Trump not to run for president Abroad

Musk also thinks there was “too much drama” when Trump was president. It is the first time Musk has said Trump should waive a new campaign. In an interview with Bloomberg news agency last month, Musk said he wasn’t sure who to support when asked if he would support Trump, who has hinted strongly at another run for the presidency.

Musk presumably wants Trump to make way for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, whom he backs. According to Musk, DeSantis is in a strong position to be elected as the Republican candidate for the presidential election in 2024 and would “easily” win over current Democratic President Joe Biden.

With the tweets, Musk responded to the criticism Trump directed at him last Saturday during a campaign rally in Alaska. Trump said Musk invariably sells a bunch of crap. According to Trump, Musk lied about the fact that he would have voted for the former president in 2016.

Trump also predicted that Musk’s takeover of Twitter would fail, calling it a “worthless deal.” Musk recently announced that he was withdrawing from the $44 billion acquisition deal with Twitter due to a lack of clarity about the number of spam accounts on the platform.

Trump also called on the Alaskan crowd to use his own app, Truth Social, instead of Twitter. The former president was permanently banned from Twitter in January 2021 due to the risk of further incitement to violence. The ban followed a series of tweets from Trump in which he falsely questioned the election results and praised the rioters who stormed the Capitol on January 6, 2021.
