During the event, the chairman of the board of VW AG – Herbert Dees personally called Elon Musk, who gladly responded and spoke to about 200 people from the management of Volkswagen.
Musk was asked about how Tesla is doing so fast and so much better than other brands. The head of Tesla said that this is just a style of driving. He added that he is mainly an engineer, but in addition to cars, he takes care of supply chains, logistics and the production process. To prove how much better Tesla is doing, Dees stressed that in just a few weeks, the brand has rewritten its software, which has allowed them to switch from one microchip to another, saving them in the semiconductor crisis.
