South African coach Pitso Musimane, coach of Al-Ahly’s first football team, issued several warnings before facing Moroccan Wydad in the second leg of the CAF Champions League semi-finals.
The red giant had defeated Moroccan Wydad in their own home by two goals without a response, as the rematch is scheduled to take place on Friday.
The coach warned Al-Ahmar players not to underestimate the opponent, pointing out that winning with two goals does not mean qualifying, as they still have another 90 minutes.
Musimani stressed the need to focus and play with enthusiasm, strength and seriousness, and to do their utmost in order to present a strong performance and a good result, and to please the red fans.
