Three months later, musician Helmy was in for an unpleasant surprise when he discovered that an amount of two million and 221 thousand pounds had been withdrawn from his bank account and deposited in the account of his business manager, according to his statements in the report.
For a few moments, Helmy Bakr tried to comprehend what he heard from the bank employee: “You signed the papers, regret.” The musician went crazy, but his wife calmed him down and reassured him, “Don’t worry. We will make a report in the department and everything will be fine.”

Musician Helmy Bakr filed a report at the Agouza Police Department in the Giza Security Directorate, accusing his business manager of tampering with papers and seizing an amount of 2 million and 221 thousand pounds.
Musician Helmy Bakr accused his manager, “He made me understand that he brought a bank employee to collect the deposit papers, but transferred the money to his account,” demanding that the security services “give me back my money.”
Department officials recorded the statements of musician Helmy Bakr in the presence of his lawyer in preparation for referring the report to the Agouza Prosecution Office for investigation and summoning the defendant and conducting the necessary investigations.
Musician Helmy Bakr last appeared at the “Masterpieces of El Mougy” concert on Thursday, May 5, during which he appeared in a wheelchair in the presence of an elite group of singing stars in Egypt and the Arab world, in honor of the career of the late great musician Mohamed El Mougy.
The great musician Helmy Bakr married his ex-wife, Samah Al-Qurashi, after separating from her in 2016, with whom he had his daughter, Reham.
Social media pioneers circulated pictures of the marriage contract, during which Helmi Bakr appeared tying the knot with his ex-wife, Samah Al-Qurashi, in the presence of their daughter, Reham.
