On August 12, musician Andris Kivičs may have experienced a violent attack in Šampēteri, Riga. According to local residents, the situation has developed on Zalves Street, which is quite densely populated, but regardless of the presence of people, the news about how the incident started is quite stingy, reports TV3’s program “Degpunkta”.
This afternoon, several police crews gathered between the apartments and private houses in Zalves Street, as well as one Emergency Medical Aid (NMPD) brigade arrived. The services rushed to help the man, who, according to the locals, is the well-known musician Andris Kivičs. He may have been attacked, battled and the artist injured. The victim was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
As the team later found out in the “Degpunkta” police, the law enforcement officers could not find the perpetrator “by hot foot”, and he is unlikely to be searched at all.
“Today, a conflict may have taken place on Zalves Street. The police had left for the scene, but the alleged victim did not want to write a statement, ”explains the police.
