Musician and leader of the Time Machine group Andrei Makarevich* explained why, since the beginning of the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, he has not been in his new homeland and plans to return to Israel on October 16.
“The war caught me at the end of the second week of our tour with Time Machine and I simply could not interrupt them, cancel their end,” the musician says in a video recording that he published on social networks.
He clarified that the last concert as part of the group’s European tour took place on October 15, and “tomorrow,” October 16, Makarevich* is flying “home” to Israel. The artist is happy that the Israeli airline is still flying.
“The feeling of awkwardness regarding the fact that everyone is there, and I am somewhere, will completely pass for me,” predicts Makarevich*.
“Unfortunately, they won’t give me a rifle, I found out, although I shoot very well. But I will try to be useful in some way,” the musician is sure.
Makarevich* wished “all our soldiers, all reservists, all volunteers” good luck and a quick victory. He also called on the fighters to remain safe and sound and return home.
As reported EADaily , Makarevich* commented on the beginning of the escalation of the conflict from Germany, reporting on successful concerts. Next, the group headed to London, the final destination of the tour being Dubai.
