According to Rūta Petrauskas, a representative of the theater, the performance “House of the Flying Pigs” will bring the audience into the realm of the circus, revealing behind the scenes, passions and creative challenges of the art world with humor and light irony.
“The strangest and most special circus artists – pigs – have teamed up to create an unforgettable show. Each of these talented artists is unusual in being able to perform tricks that no other rye in the world can do. “However, when a guest who does not live on the planet unexpectedly arrives in the circus, the ruksu team develops a help plan, which will require the virtuoso and hard – working skills of each participant,” said the representative of the Puppet Theater.
The director of the performance is Edgar Kaufeld. The creative team consisted of scenographer, puppet and costume designer Kristaps Kramiņš, music authors Edgars Šubrovskis and Sniedze Prauliņalighting artist Uldis Andersons and actors – Baiba Vanaga, Anrijs Sirmais, Mikēlis ŽideļūnsRihards Zelezņevs, Arnita Jaunzeme and Matīss Millers.
This is the first production of the Great Hall, which was made after a long break during the reconstruction of the theater building, it is planned to be shown in the Great Hall of the Riga Latvian Society House.
From March, the performances of the Latvian Puppet Theater will take place without distance restrictions, but the requirement for a vaccination or disease certificate for adults has been maintained for the time being.
