After the long, mandatory corona break, the performances of the musical Oh mama! resumed last Friday evening in the Antwerp City Theater. Due to the pandemic, there were 16 months between the third and fourth performance. The resumption therefore became a festive affair, even though the public had to sit in bubbles and mouth masks were mandatory.

In the production by actor-director Stany Crets, Ann Van den Broeck, Tinne Oltmans, Evi Hanssen, Johan Terryn and Govert Deploige, among others, play the story of a special Greek wedding to the hit songs of Abba. Oh mama! runs until September 4 in Antwerp and will move to the Ethias Theater in Hasselt from September 10.
