The foundation launches the series of online conversations with the Chilean mezzo-soprano.
The Musical Factory Foundation presents “La chat lírica”, a virtual event dedicated to learning more about opera and great exponents of the genre. In its first edition, the protagonist will be the Chilean mezzo-soprano Evelyn Ramírez, who has played Carmen in Bizet’s opera of the same name.
She has played roles like Olga in Eugene Onegin de Tchaikosvky, Suzuki en Madama Butterfly de Puccini, Orlovsky and The bat by Strauss, Orsini in Lucrezia Borgia by Donizetti, Rosina in The Barber of Seville of Rossini, Isabella in The Italian in Alger by Rossini, Nero in The Coronation of Poppea of Monteverdi.
The activity will be broadcast at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31 on the Instagram account @factoria.musical, led by the pianist and director of the Rosa Vergara Musical Factory Foundation.
“La chat lírica” is a new space for conversation around opera and the lyrical genre, where, according to directors, singers and characters from the national and international vocal artistic world, they will tell their experiences as the protagonist of the real events of an artist to the community.
