the concert of processional marches “Música con Pasión”, offered by the Municipal Music Band of Soria, has once again celebrated a new edition with public success, in which they have been accompanied by some compositions of bugles and drums from the brotherhoods of Soria.
A processional march It is the music used to accompany the Holy Week processions and enjoys great popularity in Spain and, apparently for another year in the church of El Salvador, also in Soria.
The public has again completed the capacity to listen to this concert, opened with “Triana de Esperanza”, by Claudio Gómez Calado, and in which the well-known “Saeta” composed by Joan Manuel Serrat has been heard in the first part in the sixties of the last century.
The Soria Municipal Music Band has also included among its ten compositions on the program the march “la Madrugá”, by Abel Moreno, and “Hosanna in Excelsis”, by Óscar Navarro from Alicante, which is on its way to becoming one of the processional marches classics.
