Every year, ravers flock to the Hunsrück to celebrate for a weekend at the Nature One techno festival – and this year is no exception. Will the weather play along?

Tens of thousands of people are expected at the Nature One techno festival in Hunsrück this weekend. From Friday evening (8 p.m.) more than 350 artists will be on stage, according to the organizer. This year, these include Charlotte de Witte, Paul van Dyk, Shlømo, Lilly Palmer and Alle Farben.

Oliver Vordemvenne from the organizer I-Motion said that roughly the same number of visitors are expected as last year – well over 50,000. It is not yet possible to estimate exactly how many there will be. Visitors have been able to arrive since Wednesday.

But will the weather also put you in the mood for a festival? The German Weather Service is expecting showers and isolated thunderstorms in Rhineland-Palatinate on Friday. But it should remain largely dry on Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures are expected to reach up to 27 degrees on all three days.

85 musicians will be performing on the festival’s five main stages on Friday and Saturday nights. The festival has been running since 1995. Due to the corona pandemic, it had to be cancelled in 2020 and 2021.
