Several events marked the 2023 activity report of the music school. The first meeting of the choirs of Bigorre in Laméac, which was a great success, is being repeated this year in the school’s events calendar. The end-of-year hearing also received a lot of positive feedback and will be repeated.
Vincent Guillon adds that “for the June audition, we included at the end a mini-concert of local artists, the Bliss Group (Tribute de Muse), with the participation of certain students. We wish to perpetuate this novelty to allow for as many students as possible to discover the stage in a live concert version. The music school also took part in the Fest’in Marcat Festival, the last weekend of June, with a concert lasting approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. in which many students participated In July, at the initiative of Corinne Rengear, the school’s adult choir accompanied the BLISS Group (Tribute de MUSE) on two songs during their concert in Villecomtal-sur-Arros L. The objective of these events is to involve as many students as possible, and the enthusiasm of last season encourages the music school to develop these convivial moments.

The Marguerite Lacoste music school is relying on eight teachers this year: Patrick Fabre (guitar lessons, bass, instrumental awakening), Véronique Audoine (flute lessons, instrumental awakening), Beata Rowel (violin lessons, piano, awakening instrumental, musical awakening), Corinne Rengear (piano lessons, music theory, choir, musical awakening), Bastien Peyras (drums lessons, instrumental awakening, musical awakening), Bruno Jacomet (trumpet lessons, instrumental awakening), Philippe Severin (lessons of Batucada and percussion) and Florent Chenu (saxophone lessons).
