Corinthians continues to be highlighted around the world, even when the subject is not football. This Friday, a video by music producer Sonny John Moore, better known as Skrillexwearing Timão’s shirt, went viral on social networks and WhatsApp groups.
In the video, you can see the DJ holding a Corinthians shirt with his name on the back. He still tries to release a “Vai, Corinthians” in Portuguese – see below.
The American music producer replaced Canadian rapper Drake at Lolapalloza Brasil last week. In addition, the DJ was with Jyoty and the singer MIA for a surprise show in São Paulo.
Srillex started his career in 2004 as a guitarist for a band called From First to Last. The then music producer, singer and songwriter was one of those responsible for popularizing the Dubstep Genre. The American won the EP category at the Grammy Awards three times in 2011, and twice in 2012. In addition, he performed duo projects (Jack Ü, with Diplo and Dog Blood, together with Boys Noize) and was co-producer of other big names in music.
It’s not that unusual to see Corinthians appear in the news with names of music or random football figures. In recent years, some highlights for the former goalkeeper of the England national team, Ben Foster and names like Akon, Drake, Nyjah Houston and DJ Diplo also had recent appearances with the shirt of Corinthians.
