There is hardly a place where stall markets with handicrafts, music and culinary delicacies do not tempt you this weekend. Something like this Neumarkt in the Mühlkreiswhere numerous clubs, children’s and educational institutions as well as volunteers have put together an extensive program in the town center, ranging from an Advent concert and a visit from St. Nicholas to a magic show.
Also around the market square St. Georgen/Gusen The Advent atmosphere takes hold on Saturday (2 p.m.). At 3:30 p.m. the cheerful participatory story “The Magician’s Hat” will be performed for children. At 5 p.m. Santa Claus will visit the market. With lots of humor, charm and fantastic three-part singing, the “Movida Sisters” will enchant from 7 p.m.
In Nan Creative Naarners offer their handicrafts for sale on Saturday and Sunday. Of course, pre-Christmas delicacies should not be missing. The lighting of the Christmas tree on the market square will be put into operation on Saturday evening. An Advent concert is scheduled for Sunday in the parish church.
More than 60 exhibitors will be presenting on Saturday and Sunday Katsdorf Farmers Advent Regional and homemade products in the “Im Hof” community center. What is new is the extensive supporting program, in which many Katsdorfers take part, and the Christmas craft room as well as a children’s book reading for the little guests.
The Pfarradvent The scissors will take place for the second time this year in the tranquil ambience around the parish church on December 2nd (from 1:30 p.m.) and 3rd (9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.). In order to guarantee a uniform appearance, 15 new sales stands were purchased. A photo exhibition, church tower tours and child care while decorating cookies complete the program. The highlight of the Saxn Parish Advent is a concert with the St. Florian Boys’ Choir in the parish church on Sunday at 5 p.m.
From December 2nd to 7th from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Lebenshilfe workshop Unterweißenbach Handmade products can be purchased and coffee, cookies and cakes can be enjoyed in a cozy atmosphere. On Saturday and Sunday there are also snack bars and a punch stand.
