How are local artists doing in the pandemic? – A new edition of the music magazine “Lage!” Goes on air in the Open Canal Rhein-Main.

What has changed for the artists from the Rhine-Main area after almost 20 months of Corona? How do you make music in times of the pandemic and what’s new from the scene? “Location!” – The music magazine that transcends borders asks. On Monday, November 8th, the fifth episode of the successful TV format will be broadcast at 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. on the open channel (OK) Rhein-Main. Presenter and producer Sepp’l Niemeyer and presenter Chan from VirusMusik interview representatives of the branch on the balcony of the Media Project Center Offener Kanal (MOK) Rhein-Main. The rapper Tubab, Joscha alias PodcastBrudi, Tobias Dietermann (guitarist with Revolte Tanzbein) and Cord Kunze (bassist with The Gypsies, among others) talk about their music and their very personal experiences with the pandemic.

Already in summer 2020, MOK Rhein-Main and the musicians’ initiative VirusMusik will have the broadcast format “Location!” brought to life. The “cross-border music magazine” has been produced regularly since then. The fifth edition is distributed via the OK Rhein-Main in the digital cable network on program slot 391. The broadcast can be viewed via livestream at www.mok-rm.de seen and also via the Hesse media library www.mediathek.hessen.de can be accessed.

The MOK Rhein-Main is an institution of the Hessen Media Authority (LPR Hessen) and is both a community broadcaster and an educational institution with offers for daycare centers, schools, universities and multipliers. VirusMusik is a musicians’ initiative and actively supports the local music scene in Rhein-Main. VirusMusik helps, among other things, with the search for rehearsal rooms and offers young bands and artists the opportunity to present themselves live in front of an audience with regular music events.
