With 84 members in the choir, 81 orchestra members and 6 soloists, the project is too big for the current pandemic situation, the Lübeck University of Music announced on Thursday. With the concert “December 7, 1970 – A Polish-German Requiem”, students from Poland and Germany wanted to commemorate Willy Brandt’s kneeling in front of the memorial for the heroes of the Warsaw ghetto. According to a spokeswoman, the performance of the work should have been one of the music college’s biggest projects in recent years. © dpa-infocom, dpa: 211125-99-141263 / 2 – – .
