Throughout the month, the conference center will host two high-quality proposals, says Mansanet. One of them will be on Friday the 25th, starting at 8:30 p.m., with the theatrical comedy “On Occasions I See Umberto,” written and directed by Álvaro Carrero. For Saturday the 26th the proposal will be through humor, with “The show of the shows” with Antonio Ocaña, Perrichi and Wito.
The Councilor for Culture highlights that there are also several exhibitions that, on the occasion of the eighth Ricardo Martín Analog Photography Festival, are housed in the municipal exhibition spaces, the food market hall, the Rufino Mendoza cultural space and the Charo Acero Museum Center.
A center, furthermore, in which there are two activities this month, explains Mansanet. The first of them, this Saturday the 5th, at 8:30 p.m., with the inauguration of the new collection of the Eduardo Acero costume museum. A new collection that takes a tour of bridal fashion from the 19th and 20th centuries and features creations from major Spanish and international brands.
The second proposal is on Friday the 18th, with a flamenco fashion show that will feature costumes by Extremaduran designers such as Sandra Pozo, María Fernández or Emma Prieto. A parade that will feature live musical entertainment by Matías and Diego de Paula.
The cultural program for October also includes the screening of the traveling Film Library of Extremadura, “which is not only consolidating a significant number of spectators, but is increasing with each new screening,” he adds. This month it will be on the 30th, at 8:30 p.m.
