Have more than 50 years Kool & The Gang As a band they are already under their belt and haven’t become a bit quieter during this time. The story of the soul, funk and disco wonders began in 1964 at school, when the two brothers Robert and Ronald Bell, together with their classmates George Brown, Claydes Charles Smith and Dennis Thomas, founded the band jazziacs, which later changed to Kool & The Renamed the hallway.
In music history, Kool & the Gang have been actively performing on stage longer than any other R&B band, which has led to them now being one of the most covered bands in the world. With their explosive mix of jazz, funk and R’n’B, the cult band climbed the pop Olympus. Her music also made it to Hollywood on the soundtracks of films like “Rocky” and “Saturday Night Fever.”
