Music in the Martinskirche Ebingen

On Sunday, November 10th, a musical and literary experience will take place as part of the Albstadt Literature Days. A free workshop with beatboxer Ramon Schmid begins at 1 p.m. in the KulTurm Ebingen. Up to 15 participants can discover their own musical expressions here. Please register by email [email protected]. At 5 p.m. there will be a concert performance with organ sounds and modern speech beats in St. Martin’s Church. Cantor Steffen Mark Schwarz on the organ and Ramon Schmid with lyrics and beatbox elements create an innovative sound. Entry is free.

On Saturday, November 30th, St. Martin’s Church opens the Advent season with an open Advent singing. At 11 a.m. all generations are invited to sing along with traditional Advent and Christmas carols. They are accompanied by the choir of the Martinskirche, cantor Ferdinand Ehni on the organ and cantor Steffen Mark Schwarz.

On Sunday, December 15th, Johann Sebastian Bach’s Christmas Oratorio (Parts I and III) will be performed at 5 p.m. The work is conducted by cantor Steffen Mark Schwarz. The concert is complemented by Bach’s Concerto in D minor for oboe, violin, strings and basso continuo. Entry costs 25 euros, reduced price 20 euros.
