Music Festival of Legends: Anders, Alphaville, London Beat, Ottawan

About 100 kilometers away from Riga, Lithuania, on the peninsula of Lake Ķiluchi in Birži district, a music festival of legends will be held, where Anders will perform.

In 1979, after participating in the Luxembourg radio song contest, Anders recorded his first single “Judy”, which was followed by several more recordings in German.

In the 1980s, he met producer Dieter Bohlen, with whom he created the duet “Modern Talking”. “You’re My Heart, You’re my Soul”, “You Can Win If You Want”, “Cheri Cheri Lady”, “Brother Louie” and other duet hits conquered the tops of charts in many countries.

In 1989, after the breakup of “Modern Talking”, Anders released the album “Different”, which was followed by a series of solo albums.

In 1994, he released a Spanish-language album “Barcos de Cristal” in the US, which was intended for the Latin American market. The album’s title track reached number one on the singles chart in Argentina.

In 1998, the duo “Modern Talking” resumed their activities, releasing six commercially successful albums until 2003.

After the second breakup of “Modern Talking”, Anders continues his solo career and performs a lot. His latest album “Cosmic” was released in 2021.

The groups “Alphaville”, “London Beat” and “Ottawan” will also perform at the music festival in Biržu district.
