The Interactive Science Museum (MIC) will be filled with music this Saturday, June 5, from 11:00 to 13:00. During their visit, the attendees will be able to enjoy the interventions of the ensembles made up of musicians and singers from the Metropolitan Symphonic Band of Quito, Quartet of the Quito City Mixed Choir and the Yavirac Group.
The City Museums Foundation and the Sucre National Theater Foundation present ‘Music in the museums’, a proposal that consists of musical activations by the casts of the Mama Cuchara Cultural Center, during the tours that visitors take to the museums.
This initiative presents short artistic interventions of small ensembles that will appear in different spaces during the visit to the MIC rooms.
The participations will function as intimate activations that put museums and all their heritage, architectural and historical values into dialogue, with related repertoires, to offer the public a different experience in each space.
The visits will be carried out respecting the established capacity and all the biosafety and social distancing measures that guarantee the safety of the visitors. If you visit us in groups of more than ten people, you can reserve your space at this link: https://bit.ly/ReservasMIC
The Interactive Science Museum is located on Sincholagua Street and Av. Maldonado, in the Chimbacalle sector. The entrance fee is $ 3 for adults, $ 2 for students with a license and $ 1.50 for children. Older adults and people with disabilities do not pay entry.
