The Daoiz and Velarde square this week becomes the epicenter of design and art with Boooom Bastic Fest, an event that brings together a wide program of activities and is organized by the Art and Design School, Artediez, in collaboration with the district municipal board.
On Thursday 30 the best talents of the school will show attendees their skills on illustration, photography, modeling, styling and design. The day will end with a conference on the last two projects of Estudio Disolver, Salvador Colorful Edition and Tamaragua, by two of its members and Rubén Campillo.
On Friday the projects will be presented, Toy store, a toy factory that functions as a design and play laboratory, and this season will work with the Artediez School to design its reconstruction and produce a collection of toys in collaboration with the National Museum of Decorative Arts. The other project is called Reaction Madrid, a participatory artistic video proposal created from the images generated and contributed by the citizens of Madrid.
The end of the party of this particular festival will arrive loaded with rap, pop and flamenco-inspired music in charge of the groups Dravok, Dowi and the singer and composer, Álvaro Sola.
