On the first Tuesday of August, the Viktória Pódium “Tuesday cultural mix” series of events came to its sixth occasion. On this occasion, the evening started with music and literature: those interested could hear a concert by the Harmonika Duo, i.e. László Takács and István Kiss, and then learn about the work of writer and journalist Tamás Csitáry-Hock through his books.
With the help of the Order of the Hungarian Royal Swordsmen, the audience was able to get a glimpse of the historical eras of the city through period costumes and war games. Meanwhile, in the exhibition space of the Viktória Rehabilitation Center’s large hall, those present could also admire the works of fire enamel artist Mária Szűcsné Novák.
The event – as usual – once again served charitable purposes: in addition to the support from the visitors, a fire enamel work also found its owner. The amount raised will be used entirely by the “Viktória” Rehabilitation Foundation for the Mobility Impaired to maintain the center.
