Maxhütte-Haidhof. On German Unity Day, 300 senior citizens enjoyed a musically entertaining afternoon in the town hall, organized by the Senior Citizens’ Advisory Board.
On the Day of German Unity, October 3rd, the senior citizens’ advisory board of Maxhütte-Haidhof traditionally invites you to a “colorful afternoon” in the town hall. An event that was very popular this year as 300 seniors accepted the invitation. They experienced a musically enriching afternoon Andreas Fischera thoroughbred musician who took over the program design and moderation for the first time, was humorously directed. Fischer thrilled the audience with his relaxed manner and caused a lot of laughs with his specially written “Gstanzln”, which he also dedicated to the mayor and the organizers.
A varied musical program
The musical start was by the youth brass band of the FF Leonberg under the direction of Ferdinand Deinzer made with the Florentine March. The musical offering was diverse. The “D’Brücklmeier Buam”, Johannes and Maximilian Brücklmeieras well as “D’Rofara” from Pirkensee and Dietldorf took turns with the youth brass band and provided atmospheric entertainment. The Pirkensee local and folk costume association, represented by the chairwoman Inge Gollwitzer and youth leader Celina Bichlercontributed to an all-round successful afternoon with singing and dancing.
Andreas Fischer not only provided entertainment as a presenter, but also sang two songs together with the seniors present. His song “Fly with me back home” made the audience sway. The relaxed and happy mood in the audience testified to the successful interaction of all actors.
Appreciation of everyone involved
At the beginning and end of the event, the First Mayor thanked everyone Rudolf Seidl all participants. He emphasized the commitment of the musicians, the “Trachtler”, the sound engineer Wolfgang Schmitt, the senior citizens’ advisory board and the senior representatives Rebecca Federer and Andrea Ederer for the organization, the hall warden Harald Griesbeck and from Birgit Graf from the gardening group for decoration.
