Description
Housed in a magnificent Art Deco building, the Museum of Art and History of Civilizations presents several collections that encompass very different fields: prehistoric and ancient archeology, religious art at the end of the Middle Ages, painting from the 19th century, arts decorative items and furniture … The main room in the museum is the Dortmund treasury, made up of 444 gold coins, mostly dating from the 4th century.
