A stated goal of the Orbis Quartet is to make music accessible to a wide audience. Musethica supports them in this: This week the four young musicians are visiting social institutions in Berlin, including a shared accommodation for refugees, the Vivantes Clinic for Psychiatry, Psychotherapy & Psychosomatics as well as the juvenile detention center and schools in various Berlin districts.

The public concerts also take place in barrier-free locations that bring different social groups together.

The Musethica concert week is led by violinist and viola player Gregor Sigl, who has been teaching as a professor of chamber music at the University of the Arts (UdK) Berlin since 2007. He has given concerts around the world and is a regular guest at international music festivals.
