Mortada Mansour, president of Zamalek club, called on his fans to trust the football team before facing the African Champions League final against Al-Ahly on Friday evening.
And through a video clip broadcast by Mortada Mansour on his YouTube channel, the president of Zamalek said: “My message to the fans is to have confidence in their team. We have a 90-minute match that will result in only one winner, and the other will not be successful.”
The Zamalek president added: “The fans of Zamalek are the greatest in history. Do not talk to me about Barcelona, Real Madrid or Liverpool fans, our fans are always behind the club in crises.”
Mortada continued, saying: “Our goal is to win honor over Al-Ahly club inside the stadium only, and we do not want the quarrels that occurred in Abu Dhabi between Al-Ahly and Zamalek to be repeated in the final, and we do not forget that the crisis that occurred at the time was due to the participation of Kahraba and his hitting the Zamalek players.”
Murtada Mansour ended: “Zamalek is stronger technically, but Al-Ahly is stronger in the media, and this is a fact. We ask our team to play in a guise and only for fun, and the universe will not end after the match, there are many other matches coming between the two teams.”
