Mortada Mansour, president of Zamalek club, against whom a decision was issued for 4 years, refused, considering that the white club would be lost due to the decision to postpone the Raja match in the second leg of the African Champions League semi-finals.
In statements to Zamalek TV, Mortada Mansour said: “I am the maker of joy in Zamalek Club. Whoever says that the club will be lost after a decision I made does not know anything.”
The president of the White Club confirmed that he did not know anything yet about the decision to postpone the Raja match scheduled for next Saturday in the second leg of the African semi-final.
Mansour added, “Enough will wait until he knows who will participate in the final match on November 6 first, and then he will consider the issue of postponement.”
The president of Zamalek concluded: “It is not correct for me to solve a problem for CAF by agreeing to postpone the Raja match, and then refuse to postpone the final and issue us a crisis.”
A source confirmed to “Yalla Koura” from within the Confederation of African Football that the decision to postpone the match between Zamalek and Al-Raja had already been issued so that the match would be held on October 31, without prejudice to the final match scheduled for November 6.
