Mortada Mansour, Chairman of the Zamalek Club, expressed his surprise at the invitation of the artist Khaled Nabawi, to the draw for the Handball World Cup last Saturday at the pyramids.
Mortada Mansour commented on the Prophet’s call in statements to Al-Zamalek TV: “Khaled al-Nabawi is a traitor and has unacceptable statements about the armed forces and the Egyptian army.”
He added, “I used to invite the honorable symbols, not the traitors, such as Khaled al-Nabawi.”
He continued: “I was hoping to invite Kamal Darwish, the former president of Zamalek and one of the stars of handball.”
He ended his remarks: “I did not accept Hassan Mustafa’s invitation if he sent it to me, but Zamalek fans were sad about not inviting their symbols.”
