Counselor Mortada Mansour, Chairman of the Zamalek Club, said that the late President Hosni Mubarak had offered him the Presidency of the People’s and Shura Councils, but he refused.
Mansour added, during statements to the Zamalekawi program presented by Tariq Yahya on the Zamalek channel: “I will not run for the presidency of the Egyptian Football Association at all, and for me the presidency of Zamalek is more important than assuming a ministry.”
He continued: “I defend in my presidency of Zamalek all the defeated in the sports field and not only a club.”
