WASHINGTON (AP) — Dejounte Murray had 31 points, 14 assists and 13 rebounds, as the San Antonio Spurs beat the Washington Wizards 157-153 on Friday night in a game that took two extra periods to decide.
Keldon Johnson scored a career-high 32 points, while Jakob Poeltl added a career-high 28 for the Spurs.
San Antonio has won five of its last seven games to move coach Gregg Popovich within a win of the NBA record, which belongs to Lenny Wilkens with 1,335.
