When police officers rang the bell on Gartenstrasse in Berlin-Köpenick on June 3, 2024, Sascha K. (35) brushed them off coldly: “My wife? She’s at work, my daughter is going on a school trip!”
Four months later, he confessed in court, crying: “I killed her spontaneously.” Accusation: treacherous murder, base motives, femicide out of jealousy and “excessive possessiveness.”

Gina S. (34) had left him. The management assistant loved a colleague from her medical technology company with whom she wanted to fly on vacation that day. The abandoned cable worker called his rival “ferret”.
Sascha K. harassed the woman in the worst possible way: He invented cancer diagnoses, loosened her bicycle brakes, hid her passport from business trips to the USA, and put acetone (used as a solvent, among other things) in her eye drops.
Malicious: He added chlorine bleach to her underwear and mixed chlorine cleaner into toothpaste and lip balm: “So that she would get a rash!” When she was dead, he wrote to his rival from her cell phone: “I’m sorry, I can’t do it this week.”
