Adimali ∙ Adimali Apsarakunn Putthanpuraikal Sudheesh, who was arrested in the death of his uncle Kunjumon after mixing poison with alcohol to kill his friend Manu due to an old enmity, started preparations for this on the eve of Christmas.

2 half litres, 375ml pints and 2 bottles of wine were bought from a liquor store in Adimali by Manu who is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital. Then he ate with his friends at his house. Sudheesh told the investigation team that out of this, Sudheesh had changed the 375ml bottle without his knowledge and informed the investigation team that he did not see it.

The accused had initially told the police that he had bought alcohol on the 7th. He changed his statement during interrogation after his arrest.

However, Adimali SHO Cletus Joseph, who is leading the investigation, said that the matter will be clarified only after taking the statement of Manu, who is undergoing treatment.

Meanwhile, the accused was brought to the scene today and evidence was taken. The place where the liquor was consumed, the poison bottle and the glue used to seal the bottle were recovered. The accused was produced before Adimali Judicial Magistrate Court and remanded.
