At the Murcia Fair 2019, the king Alfonso X is the main protagonist of the poster. After 754 years of its foundation, a work is created in which history and avant-garde come together.
Murcia Fair 2019
Alfonso X el Sabio granted the city of Murcia the celebration of this event: «Among the privileges granted by King Alfonso X El Sabio to the city of Murcia in 1266, the celebration of a great annual fair is established in September who has endured with excellent health to this day, more than seven and a half centuries later ”, recalled the mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, who indicated that“ this year we wanted to commemorate the figure of the Wise King, the man who gave his heart to Murcia and gave the city its own Government, with a poster that reflects the historical roots of our Fair and its 754 years of life, with a young and avant-garde style ”.
The river and Avenida Alfonso X, main axes
