Thiruvananthapuram Malayalam’s favorite poets Prabhavarma and Murugan Kattakkada sang his own poems Shyama Madhav and Renuka, while Suresh Mutukulam translated the beauty of the poems into lines. The beauty of poetry and painting came together in front of the connoisseurs in the Vagmaya Picture Seminar organized as part of the heritage festival. Prabhavarma explained the magic of painting a picture with words through poems with examples. He described figures of speech in poems including that of Vallathol. After that he started singing poetry and along with it painting. Suresh Mutukulam has captured the concept of Krishna in Shyama Madhav on canvas in a mural style. He transformed Renuka of Kattakkada into artistic beauty with simple lines.
