Because the local community of Knittelsheim invested 95,000 euros last year, but only received 5000 euros in return and the current situation on the credit market is favorable, the community is now taking out a loan of 90,000 euros. The local council has approved the loan and authorized local mayor Ulrich Christmann (CDU) to conclude the loan agreement with the cheapest provider. The three largest investments in 2020 were the renovation of the Ottersheim primary school, which Knittelsheim children also attend (54,700 euros), the upgrading of the toddler facility at Knittelsheimer Plätzel (13,200 euros) and the grant to the sports club (10,000 euros).
