This Wednesday, April 24, the Public Account 2023 of the Municipality of Rancagua was held in the municipal Auditorium.
On the occasion, the Councilors Valentina Cáceres were present, as protocol mayor; Manuel Villagra, Patricio Henríquez, María del Carmen Orueta, Hugo Guzmán, Emerson Avendaño, Viviana Morales, Jacqueline Vidal, Carlos Arellano and Cristian Toledo; Mayor(s) Cristian Pavez; in addition to Natalia Sánchez, representing the Regional Governor Pablo Silva; Giovanna Amaya, Seremi of the Environment, representing the Presidential Delegate Fabio López; Deputy Marcela Riquelme; the Regional Councilors Germán Arenas and Mauricio Valderrama; the members of the Civil Society Council and the Communal Public Security Council; Lieutenant Colonel, Juan Pérez, Commissioner of the 1st Rancagua Police Station; Major Cristian Vargas, Commissioner of the 3rd Rancagua Police Station; Subprefect Daniel Sepúlveda, representing the Regional Chief of the Investigative Police. They were joined by municipal directors, municipal corporations and members of their boards; the board of ASEMUCH (Association of Municipal Employees) and leaders from different sectors of the city.
The Public Account management 2023 was headed by the protocol mayor Valentina Cáceres, who emphasized the important work carried out every day by the officials of the Municipality of Rancagua.
The protocol mayor pointed out that “security is one of the most important demands that citizens have, not only in Rancagua, but also throughout the country” and that “for this reason, it is necessary to work together with the police, the institutions of the State and our neighbors to provide greater security in all sectors of our city.”
On the occasion, Valentina Cáceres stated that “one of the most urgent issues that we must take charge of is how we improve primary health care (…) thus it is also important to work on a more dignified and quality education for our children, girls and adolescents who are educated in municipal establishments.”
The Public Account 2023 announced the work of the teams of the Municipality of Rancagua in various areas, such as security, work in the city, works, sports, culture, municipal support, citizen participation, among others.
Finally, the protocol mayor Valentina Cáceres indicated that “from the Municipality we must work so that Rancagua is a city that provides spaces and opportunities for everyone.”
