DOKKUM – The Lindenhof cemetery on the Metslawiersterwei in Dokkum may be expanded with a small animal cemetery. The municipality of Noardeast-Fryslân is currently working on plans to expand the current cemetery.
“We are considering setting up a small area as a pet cemetery. There is currently no animal cemetery in our region.” said the municipality. The municipality asks its residents to let us know whether or not there is a need for it.
Via a survey the municipality hopes to get clarity from its residents.
