Municipality of Kapelle takes over community work from Cederhof

According to alderman Annebeth Evertz of the municipality of Kapelle, this change will bring the authorities closer to the citizen. One central access would make it easier for residents to reach the emergency services.

Share volunteers move along

The four welfare workers will move to the Neighborhood Team of the municipality of Kapelle from 1 January. Some of the volunteers of Cederhof also move with them. From now on they will work on different days from the town hall, village hall De Vroone in Kapelle and village hall De Wemel in Wemeldinge.

Volunteers from, among others, Tafeltje Dekje, the repair café and the scooter tours will stay with Cederhof. According to director Inge van de Boomen, there is more: “Other matters that specifically concern the elderly remain with us.”
